Milo ENSMINGER, past 50 years old, is dead at his home in Oakland, Cal. A message was received here Monday night by officers of th elocal Masonic Order giving information of Mr. Ensminger's demise. He was a member of the Crawfordsville lodge and his funeral services in California will be in charge of the Masonic lodge . The services will be held Wed. In the message received here it is not stated at what hour Mr. Ensminger died but it is presumed from the time of the funeral that his death occurred Sunday night or Monday morning. The deceased was a resident of this city for many years and was well known here, especially among the older citizens. For sevearl years he was in the grocery business here, first as a clerk and later as proprietor of a store on Main Street in partnership with William Bryant. Their store was situated about where the GOlden Rule department store is now located. About 1890, Mr. Ensminger retired from the business here and accepted a position traveling for a grocery supply firm. After following this occupation for about 3 years he left with his family for Michigan and later went to California. He is survived by his widow, two sons and one daughter. The message received here regarding Mr. Ensmingers death was sent by Omer Cox, formerly of this city.

Milo D. Ensminger, a native of this city, passed away in Oakland, Cal June 15, 1913, the cause of death being cancer. The deceased was identified with the grocery busines sof this city for a number of years, afterward going on the road as a traveling salesman, becoming salesman for Arbuckle Bros coffees in NOrthern Michigan. Later taking up National cash registers with a part of the city of Chicago as his territory, where he made an enviable record as a salesman. He was transferred to territory in San Francisco in 1907 where his final labors were accomplished. He has been a terrible sufferer for the last two years which he endured with surprising fortitude, submitting to two operations and exhausting all means to overcome this dread disease, he expired in Fabiola Hospital, Oakland on the above date.
